Talking With My Hands

We've been trying to teach Annalyn a little bit of sign language for several months. I rented videos and read a book. And finally decided that the three makeshift gestures we agreed on with Svea, our babysitter, would do just fine. (After all, does Annalyn really need to know the signs for pizza and cookie? Does it matter if she says "please" in some way other than the official American Sign Language way?) So, a few months later, here we are, waiting for it to catch on. She's signed "more" a few times, but her real trick is...
Waving HELLO!
And waving BYE-BYE!
