They Say It's Your Birthday!

Annalyn had her first birthday party on Saturday. The theme was rubber duckies, and the location was the park. She ate a lot of frosting and a little cake, and she played with the tissue paper from a bunch of presents. Thank you so much to our family and friends who celebrated the big day with us!

Craig continued his tradition of helping the babies of the family appreciate good music - by giving Annalyn a Marvin Gaye CD.

Uncle Brian and JoJo played with Annalyn a lot! (And brought her dad's favorite gift - a MU cheerleader's outfit!)

Uncle James and Aunt Lauren braved the journey from Iowa with a not-so-hot car, all for Annalyn's party.

We got Annalyn's birthday cake at HyVee, where she got her own baby cake to dig into!

Annalyn's babysitter, Svea, and her friends, Mary and Claire, came to the party. Annalyn and Mary were so excited to see each other, all they could do was giggle!

Annalyn's cousin, Aleah, loves to play with her and make her smile. She even brought her own present for Annalyn - a comfy sweatshirt with sparkly flowers!
