oops...I forgot (17 weeks, 4 days)

I feel like my brain has crossed over into...the Twilight Zone. (pausing while everyone hums the theme song)

So, I have completely forgotten to update this blog in the last three weeks! And, I can't find what I did with my quad-screening form from my doctor so I can get blood work done. I was in a meeting yesterday at work and, right in the middle of making a point, I completely lost my train of thought. And I realized yesterday that I haven't been taken belly pictures yet. Where did you go brain? And when are you coming back????

And I'm also in mourning. My beloved barbecue sauce that has been my one craving for the last month now gives me heartburn. So goodbye barbecue sauce, thanks for the memories. I'll never be able to look at a chicken finger the same way again. sniff, sniff.

Welcome to my 5th month of pregnancy! Hop on board the heartburn and memory loss express! I can't tell you where we're going...because I forget, but it's quite the fun ride!

Steve and I had quite the last few weeks with lil Bam Bam. (Steve has now taken to calling the baby Bam Bam). Bam Bam had it's first plane ride two weeks ago to Maryland! We went up north for a family wedding and it was SO nice to be able to spend time with my relatives-- especially my older sister and her hubby and some family members that I haven't seen in a LONG time. (for those of you that live up North- Bam Bam, Steve, and I are planning to come back up in the summer for two weeks and plan to squeeze in time to see everyone!!! I miss all of you!)

We had another doctor's appointment last week and got to hear the heartbeat again. It was so much louder and stronger than the month before- it is so exciting! On December 5th, I have my next ultrasound...so keep your fingers crossed that Bam Bam does not have it's legs crossed and we can find out if we're having a boy or a girl!

And no......the baby will NOT be named Bam Bam.
