Still Pregnant (38 weeks, 3 days)

Yes....still pregnant. So, I know from all the reading I do that the last month was supposed to be kind of uncomfortable. Here's an idea book writers: TELL IT LIKE IT IS! :) Not only is the last month "kind of" uncomfortable....it's INSANELY uncomfortable. I can't sleep longer than an hour at a time, unless I sleep sitting up-- then I get two hours at a time. I pee every two hours. My heartburn is having World War III, IV, and V with my insides. I'm fat and swollen. I have a cold that won't go away. And these little Braxton Hicks contractions are turning into pesky little buggers. boooooooo.

But mainly, I am in SO much anticipation to meet my little man that I can't stand it! He's still moving around like crazy. Every time he moves now, I think that in just a few days or weeks I am going to be able to watch him do that! I'll be holding him in my arms while he's moving around! I'll get to kiss and hug him and read him all the books that we have for him. I can't wait to hear him cry and laugh and coo. When does Gavin get here!?!

I am finally almost finished with my grad school semester- I finished one class last night and am finishing the other one tonight. And I am starting maternity leave at the end of the day on Tuesday. At 36 weeks my doctor asked me to stop working, so I have been working from home. :) But I am ready to be done for awhile. The house is ready, his room is ready, we're ready......well, except now that labor is getting closer I'm kind of freaking out about the pushing-baby-out part. YIKES! But, it's all worth it.

Ok, that's all from me for now-- everyone take a nap for me! :)
