Time is flying! (29 weeks, 4 days)

So I totally meant to post earlier, but then you know, this little thing called life got in the way. What a crazy last couple of weeks it has been at our house!

Long story short: I was in the hospital, out of the hospital, launching a product at work, working on a big project for school, Steve lost his job, we've both been sick, etc etc etc. Yeah-- needless to say, not a lot of time to kind of stop and take a breath.

Abbreviated version of the hospital drama: baby's fine. I had a nasty bladder infection and they have found a spot/tumor/mass thing on my liver. So now they're keeping a closer eye on me and I have to go have a CT scan 6 weeks after Gavin is born. But, I feel great and the most important thing is that the little man is OK! When we first got to the Labor and Delivery room, we were so terrified that something was wrong with Gavin. And then, they hooked us up to a fetal heart monitor and I got to hear his heartbeat the ENTIRE day. That is the most calming sound I have ever heard. It truly is amazing how much we love our son already!

But anyway....everything is fine with us, but everything that has happened the last couple of weeks have been great reminders of what is truly most important!!!!! (and no worries about Steve- he already has a ton of leads lined up.) :)

We have our last ultrasound this Wednesday!! I CAN'T WAIT to see Gavin again! Or doctor is sending us to have one of those 4D ultrasounds-- so I'll make sure to put pictures up this week! (I'm not too keen on the whole 4D thing...it kinda creeps me out, but I'll take any chance to see Gavin!)

In the meantime, check out Gavin's room! Steve, Sandra, and Cory painted it this weekend! I LOVE IT!
