Gabriel's 1st Birthday!
2:25 pm CDT October 7, 2009
Swing on over and join the fun!
Our little monkey is turning ONE!
Monkey see, Monkey do!
Let's go BANANAS at the Musa Zoo!
How cute are these monkey cupcakes!?! Nutter butter cookies, vanilla wafers and peanut butter m&ms, yum!
Happy Birthday To You!
Uncle Matt couldn't help but step in and encourage Gabriel to destroy the cupcake!
The kids LOVED the parachute from World Market!
Uncle Ben and Jamil dressed up as a banana and barrel of monkeys! Hilarious!!! Thanks, Grandma, for the costumes!!!
Jamil scared the kids to death by letting out a huge ROAR and running towards the toddlers! What was he thinking?
Our neighbors, Todd and Grayson, enjoyed the hammock along with the rest of the guests!
Christina was so great with all of the kids! She knew songs to sing with the parachute and brought G the best bubbles made by Gymboree.
The parents were trying to comfort their kids and explain that it's only Mr. Jamil!!!!
Ben was such a sport dressing up in this ridiculous costume!
Of course, Race just could not help himself!
Like Father Like Daughter!
Will got the pinata open with his karate moves!
Candy!
G left the sweet infants, Noah and Ben, behind and joined the crazy TODDLERS!!!
Our dear friends, Alison, Chris and Noah, helped us celebrate and took lots of pictures for us! Thanks!
Our guests brought all of these gifts to donate to children in the Charleston area!
Favor Table, the kids got monkey coloring puzzles and the adults got banana cookies, thanks to Erin's baking skills! Grandma brought her sock monkeys from Texas that were handmade by a friend in the 70s!
Jamil ad Ben hung monkeys in the trees outside!
Monkeys were even hanging from the chandelier!
I made G's hat by wrapping a regular party hat in fabric and hot gluing ribbon and pom poms, and I bought the plates and napkins from Michael's.
The banana cookies were sealed with a sticker that said, "Thanks for going BANANAS at Gabriel's 1st birhtday!" I ordered them from polkadotdesigns.com where I also ordered his invites. It is a Fort Worth based online company!
I ordered G's thank you cards from the website, esty.com. You have to check it out!
Gabriel's actual birthday! Wake up Birthday Boy!
Thanks, Great-God-Mother Bebe, for the adorable hat! G had a yummy three tiered mini waffle cake for breakfast!
It's lunch time and time for Gabriel's first real dessert, a cupcake!
We took Gabriel to Gahagan Park! This is the best little park I have ever seen!
I love you, Birthday Boy!
