Summer Fun

There's much to celebrate as summer draws near, G is learning so much through the smiles and the tears, We're out on the town while the boys are all back, Next were off to Texas so we better go pack!

Sweet Mama Bird laid a nest in one of my planters on the balcony!

Of course, you can imagine how excited I was to find this one morning when I went out to water!

The 2009 Spouse Flight was a hit! We enjoyed playing dress up and hopping aboard the C-17 for a day in our husband's shoes. Jamil also enjoyed a day in mommy's shoes with G!

Lindsey and I got the hot ticket in the cockpit to watch the air refueling!

Jamil and G spent the afternoon together on the beach while I attended Stephanie's baby shower.

Gabriel did not cry at all when he received his 7 month shots!!!! Does that mean he's going to be hard-headed? I guess that wouldn't be a surprise considering his parents!

G loves apples!!! I eat off the skin and he loves to suck the juices. He even goes nuts when we pass the apples at the grocery store!

G is big enough to sit in a big boy highchair at restaurants!

We decided to dare the neighborhood pool for the first time this summer! Poor G is just not used to this heat, but he really likes the water.

Welcome home Matt! The rest of the squadron returned from their deployment.

It's truly difficult being separated from our loved ones, but not many people get to experience the thrill of reunions like these!

We're happy to have the gang all back in town!

G met many of Jamil's college best friends, and they can't wait to be the first to corrupt him! We had such a great time with you all in Charleston!
