The Cats, The Colonial, and The Cliburn Concerts,
Swimming lessons and parties where G was a flirt!
Our road trip was full with fun and dear friends,
We're sad when our journey comes to an end!
Our first family road trip to Texas! Gabriel learned how to play peek a boo on this trip and give high 5s! He was such a good boy!
Gabriel LOVES crashing into pillows on a big bed! We stayed in Alabama on our way to Texas. Gabriel's first night in a hotel!
We made it! Deep in the heart of Texas!
Gabriel began taking off with his crawling skills as soon as we got to Grandma's!
Grams couldn't wait to get her hands on G! Also, he LOVES this toy. It's a rain stick made by Discovery Toys.
Grandma, Great Aunt GG and Great Grandma all loved on G as we caught up at Crackle Barrel.
Of course we had to get comfy in one of the rockers outside!
These two are somethin' else!
G was willing to share another favorite toy with Granddad, his red teether from Discovery Toys.
Don't try this at home! This is one of Grandpa's favorite tricks.
We all ate at daddy's old stompin' grounds, Cousin's Barbecue!
G shocked us all as he quickly went in for the kill on aTexas Gal he just met. We don't even know her name! His first kiss... Mom tried to not give the girl a dirty look!
We had a great time celebrating with John and Rachel at their couple's shower!
Dear Cody stopped by to hang out with his favorite baby! We're still working on him feeling comfortable holding one. :)
Sweet Tara and I met for lunch. She's expecting October 23rd!!!
Uncle Andy hit it off with G over some good ol' Mexican food!
Sweet Erin couldn't wait to share her love with G.
Grandma hit the jackpot with this monkey bouncer!
Jamil and I got away to the Colonial Golf Tournament thanks to our friends, Cody and Jennifer! They didn't allow cameras, so we had to snap this shot on the bus to the gate. I also chopped my hair off!
Just a cute tickle pic!
We visited Grandpa in Rockwall and spent the evening around the lake.
Aunt Leila got a house with a pool!!! Beware of the Crazy Wheel. Jamil's wedding ring finger (of all the 10 fingers) will never be the same again! :)
How cute is this float!?!
Granddad had a great idea to fill the pack n play with balls! They carried bags of 100 at Target this summer, and we used two bags. G loved it and would search for surprise toys hidden in the balls!
My future's so bright...
We all had a blast taking swim lessons at TCU! G made lots of friends, and it became a nice way to wrap up our days during the week!
Surprise! Our Charleston friends, Kasey and Justin, stopped through Fort Worth on their way to OK!
Jayme and Nicole got to hang out with G over some great pizza at Mellow Mushroom!
Happy Father's Day! We lunch at my dad's favorite restaurant, Texas De Brazil!
Gabriel does not like getting his teeth brushed! Daddy does it every night after he gives him is vitamins in the tub. We found it to be the best place, since the iron stains everything!!!
We headed out to Rockwall to wish Grandpa a Happy Father's Day as well.
Grandpa has a little water park right in the middle of his neighborhood!
Aunt Leila joined us at Grandpa's!
I love this picture of Jamil, Aunt Leila and Gabriel!
Grandma bought some lady bugs to release in the front yard!
We tried a great Lebanese restaurant, Cafe Chadra, with Grams!
Dear Dana and I met at The Lunchbox. She's expecting in February!
Some of Jamil's best friends from highschool, Andy, Josh and Ben, enjoyed hanging out with G before heading to The Cats game!
More Mexican!!! It seems like a great idea until we head back to Charleston with an extra 5 in tote!
Gabriel learned how to crawl up the stairs! Trouble!
Tara and Cody met us for guess what... more Mexican food at Papasitos! They are going to be great parents!
Uncle Casey loves to take G to the Fort Worth Zoo. This time Jamil got to come along!
Jamil and I helped celebrate the marriage of Cody and Jennifer Martin at their reception after a destination wedding! Congrats!!!
Sweet Joan met Gabriel for the first time. Thank you for the adorable outfit!!!
Grandma enjoyed sharing her love for books with Gabriel by reading to him at bedtime!
Sweet Arden and Pierson met us for lunch at Jason's Deli. Arden is expecting in February!!!
Great Grandma stopped by several times just to hold G.
Just more cute pack n play pics!
Grandma bought a cowboy hat for Gabriel on our girls + G trip to Austin. He was in the sling, and we missed sized his big head. :)
Grandma, Gabriel and I stayed at The Driskill in Austin. They have an amazing military discount, so we lived it up for a few days on 6th Street downtown!
More hotel pillows!
They even had a miniature chair in the lobby that was just G's size!
We ate at the bakery downstairs, and G and Grandma enjoyed watching the chefs prepare our breakfast.
The Texas Capital! That's Gabriel and I standing in front.
We ate at Katz's Deli on 6th Street.
The reason we went to Austin was to see my old 8th graders graduate from high school! Crazy! I'm so proud of you all!
One of my favorite colleagues, Nancy Cunningham, stopped by for breakfast to meet G. She was my neighbor and mentor at Small Middle School.
We bumped into the Welchs at my brother's neighborhood 4th of July parade!
Happy 4th of July!
Papaw made Gabriel's day when he and Great Grandma stopped by before bed time!
We had a play date with Azzie! G seemed to remember what his mom told him about not kissing Texas girls! ;)
G loves play time with Grams!
Granddad and Grandma took us to Tanglewood Park!
Gabriel got his first set of blocks, but I think all of the adults enjoyed building towers and pyramids more than he enjoyed knocking them over!
Gabriel went to Grandma's work to meet all of her crazy co-workers...none crazier than Grandma herself! :)
Thanks, Brad, for my blessing!
We met Debbie at our old stompin' grounds, Bruce Lea Dance Factory, where G met my dance teacher, Bruce Lea.
Granddad took us to the Modern Art Museum after we toured all of the new facilities at TCU!
Jamil has this obsession with turning Gabriel upside down!
G and I traveled back to OK with Jamil one weekend and caught up with some dear old friends!
Happy Birthday, Tara!
We met Bebe, G's Great-Godmother, for seafood on Bluebonnet Circle.
Is this appropriate for a baby blog? They are asking for trouble when they put poles on a roof top bar... G was not in attendance!
We had a great time at all of the wedding festivities during John and Rachel's wedding weekend!
Go Raiders!
Go Frogs!
The Baby Edge Shower!
Our journey has come to an end, and it's time to head home. Gabriel's 2nd plane ride, but first with Daddy!
