I received an email yesterday from one of my best friends, the subject was "R u done blogging?" I had not planned to stop blogging but it seems as though I have. I'll try to do better. The girls were 18 months old on Wednesday. They are growing up so incredibly fast. They have such wonderful little personailities. Since baseball season ended Memorial Day weekend we have been able to go to the beach several times. I have taken a few half day vacation days so we can go to Emerald Isle mid afternoon on Fridays. It is much easier on the girls and mom and dad that way. For the most part, the girls do great at the beach. Hayes is our biggest creature of comfort so she does not always sleep well when we are away from home. They both love the water, sand, and being outside. They also really seem to enjoy the grandparents and family that is at the beach. In July, we started the girls in Water Babies, which are swimming lessons at Viquest Center in Greenville. In class, Tommy and I are in the water with them. So far we have learned to splash, kick, float on our backs, dunk our heads, and ride on a noodle. It is a lot of fun for all of us and very relaxing. Here are some recent pictures...
July 20 - Today we had swimming lessons. Tommy could not go because he needed to go out of town recruiting so Aunt Nancy and Uncle Skip went with us. The girls as well as Skip and Nancy (I think) had a great time. Today we tried to get them to jump from the edge into our arms. Not so much. It was fun though. Tommy and I are going out of town this weekend to visit friends. My parents are keeping the girls at our house. All parties are excited.
