Going to school...part 2

Wow, its really been a while. The girls summer preschool went great. They had 10, 2 year olds in Ms. Kelly's class. Except for getting dropped off, they seemed to have a great time. When they were not in school, they complained about it, "I don't want to go to school." They are on a 3 year break and will start back the week of Labor Day. We had one of our best trips to the beach last weekend. We left after work on Friday night and headed to Emerald Isle. Saturday we went shopping for a fig tree, the girls love figs and after naps spent the afternoon on the beach. Sunday we went for a boat ride. The girls love the boat. We rode about 10 minutes, anchored the boat at an island, and played in the water for the next 3 hours. We had a blast. The girls dug in the stand, floated in their monkey and turtle floats, and snacked on peanut butter and jellies. It was a great day for all of us. The weekend prior we went to Elizabethtown, other than the sleeping, or lack there of, we had a good trip. Saturday morning, Nana and I took the girls to Lu Mil, a vineyard, about 10 minutes from my parents' home. We wandered around the beautiful vineyard, picked grapes, and sampled the homemade jellies and salsas. That afternoon we went swimming in a neighbor's pool. The girls enjoyed being with Nana and Biggie. They are very excited about Tommy's fall season and football. We have promised to take them back to the beach for Labor Day!
