Happy Spring

7:59 pm CDT March 25, 2010
My New Year's resolution of blogging more has not gone so well. I blame it on not taking enough pictures or taking the time to download them. Mary Robert and Hayes are both doing very well and seem to be very happy about the arrival of spring. For Mary Robert, spring means it stays dark later in the morning, so Hayes does not wake her quite as early. This is good for all of us. Prior to the time change, Hayes was getting up around 6:30 every morning, now it is a few m inutes after 7 AM. According to Mary Robert, every little bit helps. Mary Robert also likes spring because all of a sudden there are lots of birds in the backyard, more trips to the swing set, and lots of time at the ballpark. She has recently started saying the word "ball." Hayes has almost all of her "baby" teeth, which has been rough. Hayes is up to 13 teeth, Mary Robert has 7. Both girls are walking every where the want to go and Mary Robert has recently developed a shoe fetish. If she is not wearing shoes, she likes to hold them. She even says the word shoes, bless her, she is my child. I have been thinking a lot lately about motherhood, how much easier the girls are than they were a year ago. How I love the developing personalities. I adore the smiles and excitement when I get home from work. The Easter season has me thinking of life's gifts and blessings. Motherhood has been such a blessing for me, but it has not come without huge responsibility. I am thankful that God trusted Tommy and I with two of his children. I hope my girls one day understand that Tommy and I love them more than they can comprehend. Tommy has games against Louisburg this weekend and we are going to the beach for Easter so I hope to have lots of new pictures soon. Here are some pictures taken throughout the month of March.
