First trip to the ER

Yesterday when I was changing Jackson I noticed that his hernia was looking bad and different than it had in the past. So I called the Dr and he wanted him seen in the ER since it was brusing and was no longer reducing on it's own. So we called my mom and Aunt to come and watch the rest of the gang and took Jack to the hospital. It took 3 different doctors to push the intestine back in and that was the main concern. If it had not been able to be puched back in (reduced) He would have needed surgery that day, but since it was able to be reduced it posed no real emergency and we were told to keep his appointment on Tuesday and have it looked at then. And they showed me how to reduce it and want me to do it every time it comes out. Just as were were going over the discharge papers the surgeon came in and said that he talked to his attending and they added him on the schedule for Tuesday, so my little man will have his hernia fixed on then. I also told them that Cooper had one, but we didn't bring him in because his was not brusing. So they told me to try and reduce it when we got home and if it didn't go back in to bring him to the ER. So I really didn't want to do it because it hurts him, but I sucked it up and once I figured out where the hole was it went in very easy. So we will keep his appt with the surgeon tomorrow and hope they will schedule his surgery SOON. So I will try and update tomorrow, but I'm not even sure what time we have to be there, I have to call first thing in the morning. Say a prayer for Jack<3
