Lot's of updates

Sorry it's been a while since I have updated, but we have been a little busy. LOL Let's see on Saturday I had my staples taken out and on Sunday I was back in Labor and Delivery being sewn back up, my incision had opened up and now I'm back in one piece. Just a little set back I guess. All of the babies are doing great!! Jackson has still been having some breathing issues, but they are monitoring him closely and we hope it is just something he will out grow. He has had a few EKG's and an ultrasound and chest x-ray and everything comes back good. So they are not sure what's going on but the good thing in when his heart rate is droping his oxygen levels are always in the mid to upper 90's. If his oxygen level were to fall durring these times, that would be of more concern. So he is doing ok. He is a lazy eater, he needs to take all of the feedings from the bottle and most times we are lucky if he takes even half the rest get's put in his feeding tube. Today they had the top of his bed open to see if he can maintain his body temp, so far so good.

Princess Ella 7/16/08 Ella is also doing good. She is lazy with eating, just like her brother only taking half of the feeds she is getting from the bottle and the rest in the feeding tube. She is so beautiful and so amazing! All she does is sleep so now we just need for her to figure this eating thing and we will be doing good. As of last night the top on her bed was up and she has been doing great maintaining her boday temp. Other than that, no problems out of Ella.

Cooper 7/16/08 Cooper is our star right now. He is eating like a champ!!! He took his feedling tube out a few day's ago and hasn't needed it back yet!! He is the only one who is above his birth weight and he amazes me every day that someone so small can be so strong. Yesterday they had the top on his bed up for most of the day and he did ok, but I guess overnight or this morning They figured he was a little on the chilly side. It was taking him the full 1/2 hour to eat his bottle and once they cloes his bed up he chowed his bottle in 10 min. He was spending too much energy trying to stay warm that he was getting pooped out eating. But he is our star and we wouldn't be suprised if he was the first one home.

Me giving Cooper a bath. I have gotten to give all three a bath, change their diapers, give them their bottles and try to breast feed them. It makes me so happy to take care of them.

Big brother Nick after a visit. Nick is doing good, both my mom and Clyde's parent's have been watching him for us so we can go back and forth to the hospital. Nick came home last night and is was better than last time, but he is still so overwhelmed by everything going on. I hope once everyone is home and settled we will all be doing better. Ever since I got out of the hospital I have been spending 8+ hours up at the hospital and between that and getting up to pump at night I am exhausted. Today we went to vist and it was the shortest vist yet, only a couple of hours. I decided to come home with Clyde today and try and get some sleep or at least rest. I felt so bad leaving, but at the same time I will be no good for them if I am physically and mentally drained. I cried when we left and on the way home and once we got home. But I know they are in good hands and if they were not doing so good I would have never left. With that said, I am going to go pump and try and get some rest. Till next time:)
