We have a date!!!

8:05 pm CDT July 1, 2008
So I went for my appt today and all is well. We scheduled my c-section for 7/16, two weeks from tomorrow!!! I'm so excited and nervous at the same time. I couldn't wait for this and now that I have a date I'm starting to freak out just a little. I will be 34 weeks and 4 days and the Dr. said all should be fine. I was at the Dr for what seemed like an eternity today. After my appt I had to fill out a ton of paper work and consent forms for the surgery, meet with anastesia and had a quick tour of the NICU. They are very specific about visitors on the day of surgery, they don't want anyone to come and visit for at least 3 hours after I am out of surgery. So the day I deliver Clyde will call family and then I'm sure the word will spread fast. LOL That day I'm going to ask that ONLY grandparents visit after I have had time to recover and see my babies. The following day will be for the rest of the family and most importantly Nicholas to meet his brothers and sister. I am also going to ask that people call before they come to visit as we have a lot of family and it will be a lot on me and the babies to have constant visitors. Plus they only allow 2 visitors at each bed and one of which had to be Clyde or myself. We are hoping that all goes well and the babies have a short stay in the NICU and then we can have the extended family vist at home. Also if anyone has been sick or exposed to ANY illness within 7 to 10 days we ask that you will refrain from visiting as any small illness can put the babies at risk for illness and once home can send them right back to the NICU. I'm sure we will have more updates in the next 2 weeks and I'm sure I will repeat myself a hundred times about visitors, but my first priority is to keep my babies healthy. So just make sure you call first and plese understand if we say it's not a good day or a good time. I have another Dr appt and ultrasound on Monday, so we are hoping for 4 pound babies by then. Say some prayers for us and we will keep you all updated as things get closer:)
