Hi - It's Hayes. So much has happened since mamamamama (that's how I say it) let me blog. Recently, we celebrated Eason Christmas. We celebrated early because daddy's cousin, Kevin, was home. Kevin is in the Air Force in Japan. Another one of daddy's cousins, Chad (Kevin's brother) was there too. He and has wife, Chantel, have twins, too. They are boy/girl twins and are 2 months younger than me (and Mary Robert). They were willing to take a nap at the party, we were not. It was fun though. Everyone thought it was fun to have so many babies together. In addition, to celebrating Christmas in October, we also celebrated Halloween. Mary Robert was the 2 of Diamonds, I was the 2 of Hearts so together we were 2 of a Kind. For Halloween, we went to Elizabethtown to see our Petteway grandparents. Since we were there, Grandpa Petteway (I call him Big Hayes) cooked a pig. Mary Robert and I got to taste the pig but we preferred the banana pudding and hushpuppies. Since Mary Robert's last post, we have been back to the doctor. Mary Robert weighed in at 18 lbs, 4 oz and I was 18 lbs even. We are both in the 50 percentile for height and weight. We are 10 months old today. I have to go for now, I have a very big day tomorrow and need some sleep. My Uncle Ernie and Aunt Carolyn are coming for a visit (all the way from Philly) and we are going to a birthday party for our friend, Sicily. Sicily is turning 3, and she has 13 month old twin sisters. Check out some recent photos...including our Eason Xmas and Halloween. Love, Hayes

October 2009

Hey - Its me, Mary Robert again. I'm not sure how long I will be able to write tonight, I am tired and it is past my bedtime. Hayes and I go to bed at 7 PM every night. Hayes normally fusses a little bit, not me, I am normally ready for bed. After my bath and dinner, it is time to hit the hay. I'm not really sure what that means but I am ready to get in my crib, with my paci, and listen to my music while I fall asleep. Mommy and Daddy only let me have my paci in bed, so I am excited to get in bed and find it again. No, I do not have 1 special one, I like them all. Normally, mommy and daddy but lots in my bed and I have my choice. I throw the ones I do not want out, sometimes I throw them all out. I get very upset when I realize that they are all gone. After enough screaming, someone will bring me a few that they have collected from about the room. Blair and her daughter, Eva, that stay while daddy and mommy are at work call my paci "binky." I have not decided what I will call it. Hayes does not like the paci, which means more for me. Hayes does sleep with a "sleep sheep" that plays music. It plays: rain, stream, ocean, and creepy whale. No one likes the creepy whale but Hayes plays in sometimes anyway. We are eating lots of yummy food now. At the ECU tailgate on Saturday we got to try Chic Fil A nuggets, Bojangles biscuits, and homemade pound cake - yum. Recently, Mommy and Daddy took us to the beach for several days. Daddy had fall break and Mommy was celebrating someone named Columbus. While at the beach, we went to Emmie and Jessie's birthday party, they were turning two. They are twin girls, too! Everyone keeps asking about our teeth, this is a "sensitive" subject. I have 2, Hayes has 6 and is working on getting more!!! She can chew more than me with all of those teeth. Daddy is talking about cooking her a steak. I will have more teeth - one day. Check out some of our recent pictures...

Happy Fall

It is hard to beleive that I have been keeping a blog for over a year. Our lives have been so blessed in the past year. The girls continue to amaze us each day. They were 8 months old on the 14th. Both have really gotten the hang on crawling and are pulling up on everything. The baby proofing has stepped up a few notches in the past couple of weeks. Both girls pull up to standing and are working on standing on their own. Both continue to develop their individual personalities. Mary Robert is now very laid back. Hayes is more agressive. They enjoy being outside in the Radio Flyer wagon, in the swing on the back porch, or playing on the floor. Mary Robert has taken a recent interest in books. They seem to enjoy all food that is presented to them. They love to laugh at thier dad as he holds on to them and gets them to "dance." They sleep good most nights however they both like throwing things out of the cribs so the nursery floor is often a pacifier land mine. Here are some recent pictures...

What's New...with the Eason Girls...

Mary Robert and Hayes are both doing very well. First of all, they are mobile. Both are enjoying crawling and rolling around the room. Although they do not quite have crawling down pat, Hayes has nearly mastered the military crawl of dragging her body by her elbows. Mary Robert likes to rock back and forth on her hands and knees. They both have 2 teeth, the bottom 2 for both. Hayes is especially proud of her teeth and likes to grin to show them off. They are both sitting up, but after a couple of minutes, they topple over. By now you are wondering why the cow background? Since so many people ask about how they are sleeping, I chose the cows. Both girls are in bed by 7 PM, and most of the time sleep until 7 AM. Tommy and I have become very spoiled so last night, when Mary Robert was crying at 1:30 AM and Hayes at 6 AM, we had almost forgotten what to do. Nearly 2 weeks ago, our new nanny Blair started. Tommy's cousin, Dixie, had back troubles and was no longer able to keep the girls. After a couple of week search, we found Blair. She is near to the area and has 2 daughters, 5 and 3. The 5 year old starts kindergarten tomorrow and the 3 year old comes with her mom to our house during the day. The little girls seem to really enjoy the big girls.

Hi, It's me, Hayes! I have teeth - 2 of them! When Mommy and Daddy took me for our 6 month pictures, I did not have teeth but when we left - I had 2 teeth. Now I smile even more so everyone can see my pearly whites. Mary Robert does not have any teeth yet but she has been knawing on everything, including me, for weeks. We are both working very hard at crawling but so far we have not gotten anywhere. I love to roll. Don't leave me alone for long - I will roll away. Here's some recent pictures of us in our new pool. News FLASH - Mary Robert has teeth, too! They broke through this afternoon (Sunday - 8/2). Mommy, Great Grandma Mimi, and Mommy have Mary Robert the "best baby in church" award (very overrated achievment) today and she got teeth. Mommy wanted me to tell you - the proofs of our 6 month pictures are available at www.alexanderphotograhync.com. Then click on Online Proofs, Mary Robert and Hayes Eason. The password is tommy. Enjoy!

It's Hayes. Mary Robert and I are having a great summer. So far we have celebrated all sorts of stuff - Mommy's birthday, the 4th of July, and Daddy's birthday. We have been to Elizabethtown and to the beach several times. We like playing in the sand. I like the water but Mary Robert does not. We are getting to eat lots of new foods - green beans, garden peas, bananas, apple sauce, squash, and sweet potatoes are our favs. See below for new pictures! Love, Hayes

The pictures below are from our Memorial Day weekend at the beach. In addition to the beach - we are getting to eat real food!!! So far we have had rice cereal and bananas. YUMMY!!! We went to the doctor on Tuesday for our 4 month well child appointment (but we are really 4 and a half months old) - Mary Robert weighed in at 13 lbs 13 oz and I weighed 13 lbs 6.5 oz. Although she weighs more, I am a quarter of an inch longer so in one category, I am bigger!!! We got shots too, no fun. It is late and I need my sleep -gotta go!!!

Mary Robert says Heyy

HEYY, its Mary Robert again. HEYY is my favorite word. I say it a lot. Hayes says AAAGGGOOOO but me, I prefer HEYY. Sorry it has been so long since I have posted but I have been busy! Mommy has been back to work for a few weeks so sista and I have more people to play with and there is just no time to blog. Mommy gets us up around 7, we eat and play until she leaves for work. Then Daddy comes in and we play with him for a couple of hours until Dixie arrives. We play with Dixie all day, then Mommy and Daddy come home and we play with them again. It makes for a long day. Don't get me wrong, I nap some but when there is just so much going on and so many people to play with - why sleep? Hayes takes long naps, me - I like short naps so I can play more. Not napping enough sometimes means that I have melt downs (as mommy and daddy call them) but daddy does a good job of soothing me to sleep. Since Hayes' entry, we have celebrated mommy's first mother's day, daddy's season has ended, and we have been to the beach. Mother's Day was great! We saw our Eason and Petteway grandparents and both great grandmothers that weekend. We were held lots. FUN! Daddy's team lost in the conference tournament so he got home in time to celebrate with us. Last weekend mommy and daddy took us to the beach. It was an adventure. I slept until Kinston but after that I was so excited that I stayed awake a long time. We played with our Eason grandparents and went for a stroll on the beach. Later that night, I was very tired and upset but overall we had a great time. We are gonig back to the beach this weekend. Word is that there is some holiday this weekend so we can stay at the beach until Monday. On Tuesday, we go to the doctor for our 4 month well visit. We cannot wait to see how much we weigh now but are not looking forward to shots. :-( Mommy and Daddy said we may get to try some baby food soon! I am excited about expanding my diet. Everyone always wants to know how we are sleeping...Hayes and I get our last bottle at 8 PM, and go to sleep about 9 PM. I cry out a few times throughout the night to make sure mommy and daddy still know I am upstairs. When I cry out, they will bring me my pacifier. Normally by about 5:30, mommy or daddy puts me in bed with them so they do not have to get up anymore. Until 2 nights ago, they would come give me my pacifier but now they have stopped and I cry for a couple of minutes, then go back to sleep. Mommy and Daddy think it is "tough love." They think that in a night or two I will stop crying out at all. We will see. Hayes on the other hand, sleeps until mommy gets her up for breakfast at 7ish. I have to run for now, play time!

I'm Hayes

Hi, I'm Hayes! As you well know, I am the younger and smaller of the Eason girls. One of mommy's friends, says I am like a second wife - younger and smaller (and cuter) - she did not say that last part but I know what she was thinking. Mommy told us some time back that we would become bloggers soon. Mary Robert stayed up late one night (she stays up late most nights) to update it. Me - I rather eat, play, and sleep than blog. I do enjoy eating and sleeping. My granddaddy Petteway calls me "lumberjack" because I eat so much. I sleep a lot more than my sister, too. Mommy and Daddy do not let me play as much because I have reflux. Since I spit up a lot, I have to sit upright after I eat so I do not get to play on the floor too much. I do get to change my uniform (as daddy likes to call it) and my bib a lot. Mommy and Daddy have tried all sorts of things to keep me from spitting up - Mommy does not eat cheese, they hold me very still when I eat, I sleep on an incline, take Zantac (yucky) but still spit up. Word is that I will outgrow it soon. I hope so. The first picture below is daddy holding me upright after breakfast. We have been able to go to a lot of Daddy's ball games recently. I think that Mary Robert and I are good luck charms because Daddy is having a very good season. His conference tournament is the first week in May and his team will be the #2 seed. Mommy says that hopefully Daddy will be gone for almost a whole week for the tournament. That makes me sad but apparently the longer he is gone, the better his team is doing. We like going to baseball games - there are lots of arms to hold us and everyone talks about how cute we are. Most everyone says that I look like mommy and that Mary Robert looks like Daddy. We recently had our 3 month pictures taken. To see them go to: www.alexanderphotographync.com, choose Online Proofs, Children, Mary Robert and Hayes Eason and enter in the password of eason. The photo shoot was tough, both Sista and I feel asleep but those made for some of the best pictures.

This is Mary Robert...

For some time the girls have requested to create their own blog entries, so here goes...this entry is from Mary Robert. Hi, I am Mary Robert. I am now 11 weeks old - I am not sure when my mommy will stop counting my life in weeks but anyway. I am the oldest and the biggest and constantly remind everyone that I should receive the most attention. For the first few weeks of my life, I cried a lot to let everyone know that I was the dominant twin. My mommy and daddy called me "colicky." My daddy was often the only one that could console me but maybe that was because eventually everyone else around just got tired of my screams and left the room. My parents talked to the doctor about it and my mommy stopped drinking milk from a cow and started drinking milk from a soy - and wow - all better. I still cry but mainly because I have lost my pacifer. I love the green "soothie" newborn pacifer. I hate it when it falls out of my mouth. During the night, when it falls out daddy or mommy will come running and shove it back into my mouth before I wake Hayes. Speaking of Hayes, she is okay, I guess. We are starting to smile at each other and she might be cool to play with one day. She has acid reflux so mommy and daddy work hard to keep her from spitting up. She makes a mess of a lot of bibs and has lots of uniform changes. She has to sit up for a long time after she eats. Me - after I eat - I love to get on the floor and kick my legs. We went to Etown for the first time last weekend. I like Etown - mommy ate a hamburger from Melvins and a biscuit from Meltons - boy were those good. In Etown, we went to a Sip and See held in our honor. It was fun...lots of people came to hold us and talk about how cute we are. Everyone kept saying I look like my daddy. I guess so. Tomorrow we are going to daddy's ball games - my Eason grandparents will be there. :-) Sunday we will go back to the ball park and my Petteway grandparents will be there. Our Grand Mimi (mommy's grandma) came to visit yesterday. She likes to play with me. On Tuesday, our nanny, Dixie started coming to stay with us during the day. Mommy says this makes her a little sad because she will have to go back to work soon and will not be able to spend all day everyday will us. Mommy goes back to work on April 13. I will miss mommy like I miss my daddy during the day but know that she (like daddy) will come back at night time. Mommy keeps telling us about a bunny that is coming to see us - not sure about all of that but I hear he brings toys and candy. I do not get to eat candy but mommy and daddy are excited about buying it for me. Well, that is all for now. Soon you will hear from Hayes but remember - I am older and bigger.

Finally - A quiet moment

WOW! I cannot believe it has been so long since I created a blog entry! We have been really busy - other than pooping, eating, and sleeping - the girls are not doing much but it takes a lot of our time. Since our last post the girls have been to lots of baseball games - PCC and ECU. They enjoy the ballpark, especially all of the arms that are ready to hold them. Several friends have come for overnight visits - including Shannon, Elizabeth, Aaron, Emily, Jordan, Melissa, Amy (Frye), and Tiffany. All have been awesome and offered to help feed babes during the night so Mom and Dad could get a little extra sleep. We went to the Dr. today for their 2 month well check - the girls received shots so this afternoon has been pretty tough. Mary Robert now weighs 10 lbs, 2 oz and Hayes weighs 9 lbs, 13 oz. Both are doing well. Hayes has some acid reflux so she spits up a lot but does not fuss about it too much - she is such a trooper. Mary Robert is smiling a lot these days, she loves being held and will eagerly engage anyone that picks her up. She tends to loose her mind when her paci falls oit of her mouth so we will be happy when she can retreive the paci herself. In the meantime, Tommy and I go up and down the stairs a lot to help her find it. People say - let her cry - but after 15 minutes, I give in - she is persistant. Hayes is somewhat more questioning of the world. She makes eye contact and will smile some but seems to prefer to stare through you as if she is reading your mind. I promise to update this page more in the next couple of days. Here are some recent pictures...

It does not seem like the girls are almost a month old; they are getting along very well. They are putting on weight and growing a lot. The Eason Girls go back to the doctor on 2/17 for their 1 month check up. Today marks the beginning of the PCC Baseball season - since the Bulldogs were away - the girls did not get to go but cheered Dad on from home. Many thanks for all of your cards, visits, food, and well wishes - we are incredibly appreciative. Check out our recent pictures...

2/22 Update - Mary Robert and Hayes received a good report at their 1 month well visit. Mary Robert now weighs 8 lbs. 13 oz and Hayes 8 lbs. 6 oz. MR is 21 inches and Hayes is 21.5 inches. They will not go back to the doctor until 3/16. Hayes goes to the cardiologist on 3/2 for a check to make sure her heart valves have closed correctly.

The past two weeks have flown by for me anyway. We have done a lot of adjusting and have gotten pretty good at understanding the girls' sounds and needs. Greenville received lots of snow on January 20 so Tommy was able to spend a couple of days at home with his girls. We took the girls for a weight check on 1/29 - both girls are back over their birth weights. Mary Robert weighed 7 lbs, 10 oz and Hayes weighed 7 lbs, 2 oz. Their pediatrician was pleased with their weight gain. We apprecaite your continued thoughts and prayers. Below are some recent pictures...

The girls' arrival from my perspective!!!

Tommy did an amazing job describing the girls'! If you have not read his entry, check it out under "The Eason Girls are Here!" I cannot help but to add my feelings. What a long day but after waiting 37 weeks it was well worth it. I went into surgery at 2 PM, once my spinal was put in, Tommy was brought into the Operating Room. Tommy's Aunt Penny, an operating room nurse, was also there to take pictures. The room was packed with people - 4 nurses for each baby, 3 nurses for me, my OB, a 4th year OB resident, 3 related to anesthesia, Tommy, Tommy's aunt, 5 from the NICU, and me. There was a lot going on. Surgury had already begun when Tommy was brought into the room. Within a couple of minutes, I heard my OB say, I am so glad we did a c-section, these girls are huge. It was immediately followed by the screams of Mary Robert. Within a couple of minutes, Hayes made herself known by even louder screams. After the girls were cleaned up a little they were brought to us. Although I could not hold them, Tommy could, and I was able to kiss them. A few minutes later, Tommy and the girls headed to the nursery, while my surgery was completed and I headed to recovery. After a short time in recovery, I was taken to my room and the girls were brought to us. I was finally able to hold them. The girls nursed well, at the same time, on their first time. Thursday brought more visitors and the emotions of the prior day's events. The girls spent most of the day with us, only going to the nursery while I showered. Friday, we were able to go home. We were thrilled that we were able to all go home toggether. We left the hospital about 4:30 PM and only had to stop once to the 3 mile drive home to check on the girls. Since we have been home, we have done lots of adjusting. The girls are eating about every 3 hours during the day and 4 hours during the night. Last night, everyone slept well. Today we are hanging out at the house - watching it snow. The girls like it when baseball practice is canceled and they get to hang out with thier Dad all day! We really appreciate your thoughts, prayers, and well wishes. Check back soon - we will add more pictures in a few days.

The Eason Girls are Here!!

A day that may not ever be duplicated in my opinion, but that's a dad for you. THE day started early, 7:00am at the hospital(PCMH). Mom to be, at this time, was anxious but doing great. Then the waiting began. The Eason Girls were suppose to be here around 11:00am but a good plan always has distractions. Mom was patient, dad too, but finally around 2:00 the journey starts. You always feel that you are ready but now I know you can't always plan everything to a T. Here we go-----

The Girls are coming - TOMORROW

Tommy, the girls, and I went back to the doctor for our last appointment before the c-section. The c-section is scheduled for 10:30 AM, and we are to arrive at the hospital at 7:30 AM. Hopefully, the girls will be here around noon. The girls will need a little extra monitoring of their blood sugar for the first few days. They have been producing thier own insulin for several weeks but will still have to adjust to be away from my fluctuating blood sugars. Hayes will have a cardiogram (likely tomorrow) to make sure that her heart valves have all developed properly. The pediatric cardiologist reassumed me that he felt everything was okay but wanted to be 100% sure. Tommy and I are incredibly excited about tomorrow. We both have a nervousness about thier blood sugars and overall health but are so ready! Hopefully, we will have pictures posted in the next few days! Thanks for yor thoughts and prayers.

The Big Day is soon!!

36 weeks - Tommy, the girls, and I went back to the doctor on Thursday (January 8). Mary Robert's estimated weight was 6 lbs, 3 oz while Hayes's was 6 lbs, 7oz. Both girls are doing well. I am developing preeclampsia (high blood pressure during pregnancy) so the doctor moved our delivery date to January 14 - Wednesday! I am not confident that I will make it to Wedensday, the girls are both very low. Assuming they do not arrive sooner, we go back to the doctor on Tuesday for our final appointment. We will keep you posted!

12/30/2008 - 35 weeks!

Happy 35 weeks! Tommy, the girls, and I went to the doctor today. We received a good report. Twin A (Mary Roberts) is very low which indicates the girls could be arriving before January 28. Twin B (Elizabeth Hayes) remains breech. Dr. Ferguson (who delivered a baby yesterday and has one coming tonight) told us that if we reach 37 weeks, we may need to adjust the scheduled C section date. At this point, a C section would be required since Hayes is breech but regardless we have opted for a C section due to my diabetes.

12/18/2008

Merry Christmas! I was 33 weeks on Tuesday (12/16/2008). January 28 (scheduled delivery date) seems like such a long time away, but I am doubtful that we make it that far. The past week or so has been much harder than before. I am having more difficulty breathing and my feet are swelling. Overall, I am still doing well but I am definitely slowing down. I am working Friday, Monday, and Tuesday after which I will be off until January 2. I am definitely looking forward to having a few days off to rest and relax. The girls, Tommy, and I went back to the doctor today. We received a good report. The ultrasound technican estimated that Twin A is 4 lbs, 12 ounces and Twin B is 5 lbs, 2 ounces. The little girls are getting big! Twin B is breech. I think the girls find this amusing because it allows Twin A to push her butt and feet into my rib cage and lungs while Twin B is pushing with her head. I am now going to the doctor weekly. Since the next 2 weeks have holidays in them, I go back to the doctor on 12/22 and then again on 12/30. Below are 3D the pictures of the girls taken today.

Happy Holidays!

Tommy and I have been working hard to get ready for the Eason girls' arrival. Since my last post, the cribs have arrived! Tommy put them together and they look great in the nursery! Other than hanging the pictures in the room, the nursery is finished. My mom, grandmother, Tommy and I decorated the house for Christmas as well. My parents will be coming to Greenville for Christmas. This will be the first Christmas since I was 5 that I have not been in Elizabethtown. I am still getting used to the idea of not being there for Christmas. It will be fun to celebrate in our new house and will be much easier on me. The girls had their second fetal echocardiograms on Wednesday. The pediatric cardiologist was pleased with their heart development but would like to perform an echocardiogram on Twin B the day she is born and an echocardiogram on Twin A at 6-8 weeks to make sure their hearts are okay. This is a little scary but the doctor explained that it was percautionary. We went to the OB on Thursday and received a good report. The OB measured my belly at 31 weeks I was measuring 36 weeks, which is normal for twins. We go back on December 18, after which we will go weekly and get an ultrasound at each visit. Overall, I am still feeling good. It is getting harder for me to breathe as the babies (and my organs) are beginning to push on my lungs but otherwise I am feeling good. On Thursday, my friends from the gym (the gym rats) surpised me with a shower and lunch. Since we normally workout at lunch, I know it was a sacrifice for them to skip the gym and go eat buffet! Yesterday afternoon Tommy's baseball team surprised him with a shower. I was in on it, and keeping it a surprise was difficult but he was surprised. The PCC Baseball team and some of their parents were there. The guys did a great job with their shopping. The girls received their first cell phones, pink softball gloves, Michael Jordan onesies (from the 2 guys from Chicago), Pink PCC baseball onesies, hooded onesies (since Tommy gives his guys a hard time about wearing hooded sweatshirts, diapers, and lots more! It was a lot of fun. More pictures coming soon.

Thanksgiving

Happy 30 weeks! At this point, I can still tie my shoes and am still frequenting the gym.

Until yesterday, I did not realize how long it had been since I updated the blog! Since my last update, the Eason girls (and family) have been very busy. On November 9, the Jason Presbyterian Church had a shower for the Eason girls. Several of Tommy's childhood friends and family members were able to come. On November 20, my co-workers had a shower for us at the office.

We also went to the doctor on the 20th, the girls got a good report. They estimated that Twin A weighs 3 lbs 4 ozs and Twin B weighs 3 lbs 10 ozs. Twin B is very active, likely because she has more space than her sister. We got back to the doctor on December 4, we are now going every 2 weeks. We have decided on names!!!! Mary Roberts and Elizabeth Hayes, we will likely call them Mary Roberts and Hayes.

Friday after work, the girls and I headed to Elizabethtown (Tommy joined us on Saturday) for the weekend. There was a couples shower for us on Saturday night. Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving and I promise to blog more often!

Late October Update

Tommy, the girls, and I went back to the doctor last week. We received good reports. Twin A is an estimated 1 lb 12 oz and Twin B is 1 lb 11 oz. Both girls were very active during the ultrasound. We were able to see 3D images of Twin B, she appears to have her father's mouth. I am now 26 weeks along and the girls are the size and weight that they should be. We go back to the doctor on November 20. Over the weekend, several friends hosted a Couple's Baby Shower for us. It was lots of fun and many of our out of town friends were able to join. We received so many useful and fun gifts. We are very pleased to have the family and friend support system that we do. Pictures are below...

Eason Girls Update

A lot has been going on with the Eason gals over the past few weeks. Since I have last posted, we went to Charlotte for the girls first football game - and victory - with the Pirates beating VA Tech. The next week they experienced the Pirates beating WVU. The girls seemed to be a good luck charm for the pigskin Pirates but unfortunately, they did not bring quite enough luck the past couple of weeks.

Around the middle of the month, the girls began to get active. The first time I felt one of them move, was yes, at the ballpark, at a Pitt scrimage. Since then, they have been very active. They are not quite strong enough to hurt yet but they definitely like making their presence known.

In late September, we went for a fetal echocardiogram, which is an ultrasound of the baby(ies) heart(s). The ultrasound was done as a precaution, as diabetics have a higher tendency to have babies with heart defects. Both girls received a good report.

We also are thrilled that Tommy's cousin, Dixie Ruth, is going to be our nanny. She lives in Farmville in addition to loving Pirate football and basketball she loves kids and approached us about staying with the girls once I go back to work. We are so happy that they will be able to stay at home and with family. We feel very blessed.

As requested on the blog comments, here are some babies bump pictures. These were taken last weekend by my friend Debra.

Tommy and I went to the doctor on August 26 for full body scans of the babies. While there we learned that we are having girls! Both babies are doing well and growing as they should.

We are still working on names.

At this time, (September 12) I am feeling great, lots of energy and no more morning sickness. Today is my first day in a maternity dress.

The next doctor's appointment is at the end of Spetember. Thanks for your continued thoughts and prayers.
