The Wait is Over

Stella Regina held out until the month of April (I guess she wanted the diamond birthstone!) to grace us with her presence. If I had to pick one word to describe her I'd say PEACEFUL. We've been blessed with this bundle of joy.

Mom went into labor around 1:30 am on Sunday morning....just after the last ferry left Bainbridge Island. So, Dad cautiously drove around the peninsula to Swedish Hospital in Seattle, where Stella was born at 11:10 am.

"She's a chunker" Doctor Miller said, as he caught Stella.

Our fabalous nurse Izzy and doula Andrea.

Big Brother Gibson visits the new member of the family.

Proud Mom and Dad...

The wait is over....after being 10 days overdue, Stella's arrival makes us a family of four.
